Tri Delta parents are constantly showing their support for their daughters and the chapter, from cheering on our student-athletes from the stands to attending our philanthropy events for St. Jude's. These parents wear DDD with pride! To show our appreciation, our house holds two annual social events as a way to honor them and say thank you for all their help in the continued success of Pi Chapter! In the fall of each year, we host an annual Father-Daughter event. Fathers come out to meet up with their Tridelta daughters for a formal dinner at premier restaraunt locations such as our 2007 Father-Daughter dinner in Jack London Square.
In the spring of each year, we also hold an annual Mother-Daughter brunch, where we also have a small ceremony for our graduating seniors! In 2005, we took the ferry to Sausalito with our mothers, where we had a brunch at the Alta Mira hotel. During the Spring of 2007 and 2008 our members and their mothers enjoyed a delicious breakfast hosted at the Faculty Club right on Cal's great campus. In 2009 our girls and mothers enjoyed a brunch at the local and beautiful venue, The Bancroft Hotel. And in 2010 we dined at the Faculty Club.
These events allow Tri Delta, as a chapter, say thank you to our parents! Because many parents have become friends through their involvement with Tridelta, it also provides a great way for parents to meet up again and also to meet the newest Tri Delta fathers and mothers of our new members each year!
